Empowering communities and transforming lives in Uganda
The Burgess Foundation (BF) is an indigenous, non-governmental organization (NGO) that was legally registered in 2021 to operate within Uganda founded with a deep-rooted commitment to improving the livelihoods of vulnerable communities. BF envisions seeing the lives of the vulnerable persons and families empowered and transformed. BF's mission is to enhance sustainable livelihoods through improved maternal health, girl child education and elderly care. With this clear vision and mission, BF strives to empower marginalized groups, particularly women, children, and the elderly, through sustainable interventions in health, education, and economic empowerment.
